As I walk down through the crowded streets
Alleys filled with agony
Reflecting through puddles of endless rain

Countless of darkened shapes breaking through
The lights of the billboards surrounding us all
Shaded faces minding their own
Enduring the life of plutocracy

In this ever-glowing sphere
We’ll never see what’s clear

Humanity's worth reduced
As a product of the modern world
Survival of the fittest playing out on segregated streets

An endless war invisible
Gunshots, just a breeze of wind
Don't get involved just walk on by through the artificial glow

Coming home once again
Greeted by faint lights like from a distant dream
Chugging down liquor to contain my emotions
Gazing through the window which shows the new world

Endless skyscrapers a sight to behold
A beautiful display of mankind's work
Colors shining bright through the night
Mixed with the torment which occurs down beneath
